Autumn 1 - Amazing Animals

The first topic we are looking at will be Amazing Animals. During this topic we will look at a range of animals and find out where they live, what they eat and what food chain they belong to.

We will also have the chance to be 'creative contributors' where we will invent our own unique animals.

Our big question for this topic is:

  • How do animals survive?

Take a look at the link below which will give you some more information on animals that will help with our topic.

Autumn 2 - Lighting up the World

This half term we are our topic is called ‘Lighting up the World.’ During this topic we will look at where light comes from and lighthouses.  We will have the chance to be ‘ambitious capable learners’ as we will be researching light using digital technologies.

In maths we will be working on our doubling and halving skills.

Our big question for this topic is:

  • Where does light come from?

Accessing Google Classroom from Home

To access Google classroom pupils can download a FREE app via the App store on an ipad or iphone and via the Google Play Store on Android devices. Pupils then need to sign in using the username and password

provided to them by the class teacher.

To access google classroom on a laptop or PC pupils need to go to and sign in with their HWB details.
