Friday 20th September 2018

Hi all we met at 1.30pm today for the first time in our Pupil Voice Group.  We voted for a Chair Person, Vice Chair Person and a Secretary.  We are please to tell you that Dominik was voted as Chair Person, Caeran as Vice Chair Person and Brooke as our secretary.  We also discussed our aims for the year these are: 

  • To achieve the 360 Degree Safe E-safety Award

  • To raise the profile of E-safety in our school

  • To make sure that all pupils in Bryn Hafod are aware of E-safety issues and procedures

  • To make sure that Teachers in Bryn Hafod are aware of E-safety policies and procedures

  • To raise awareness of E-safety issues with the wider community including Parents and Governors.

 

We are all going to try and design a Digital Leader logo for the website.  Watch this space for updates!

 

Friday 5th October 2018

Congratulations to Dominik who won our design a Digital Leader logo for our school website.

The logo is now displayed on our Digital Leader Page.

We informed the whole school today about our Pupil Voice Group Priorities.  We introduced ourselves as a group and told the pupils what we are trying to achieve this year through our action plan!

11/10/18

The secretary, vice chairperson and Chairperson met today to set the agenda for next week's meeting.  Agenda has been distributed to all digital leaders.  

19/10/18

We have met today to discuss ways forward for Bryn Hafod Digital Leaders.

We discussed: 

  • E-Safety Poster Competition
  • E-Safety Posters around the school
  • Computers Coffee and Cake
  • Tweet of the Week
  • School Website

 

We are going to hold a poster competition - details coming soon!

We are also in the process of organising a parental engagement afternoon - details coming soon!

We are also really looking forward to presenting to our Governors at their next meeting!

 

Mr Guinee is attending a course on Tuesday 23rd October 2018 to see how we can plan the next steps to achieve the 360 Degree Safe Quality Mark.  More information coming soon!

 

9/11/18

Today we met for a meeting to discuss the competition winners of our Foundation Phase half term e-safety competition. It was a tough decision but we chose a Year 1 and Year 2 winner. Diolch to all who entered, and congratulations to our winners.
