Reading & book bags

Reading at home is very important. Reading for just 10 minutes a day can make a BIG difference. Each week we will be sending reading books home for you to read with your child. Please comment on your child's reading ability in the yellow reading record book before sending the books back to school to be changed. We ask for reading books to be brought in on a Wednesday in order for books to be changed, before sending them out on a Friday. Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask the class teacher.

Spellings

Each week your child will have a set of spellings to learn, whilst applying them to sentence writing and other aspects of learning within the area of Literacy, Language and Communication. Your child will be sent home with their new spellings for the following week each Friday. We kindly ask that you support your child to learn and practise using these spellings at home. The pupils will also have opportunities during the school day to practise their spellings, ahead of our class spelling test each Friday.

Physical Education / Addysg Grofforol
