Reading in Year 2
Reading at home is very important. Reading for just 10 minutes a day can make a BIG difference. Each week we will be sending reading books home for you to read with your child. Please comment on your child's reading ability in the yellow book before sending the books back to school to be changed. We ask for reading books to be brought in on a Wednesday :)
Giglets
Giglets is an online reading programme where your children can access ebooks that will be assigned to your child. Each child has their own personal login that will be sent home. Please contact the class teacher if you are unsure of your child' login.
Accessing Google Classroom from Home
To access Google classroom pupils can download a FREE app via the App store on an ipad or iphone and via the Google Play Store on Android devices. Pupils then need to sign in using the username and password
provided to them by the class teacher.
To access google classroom on a laptop or PC pupils need to go to classroom.google.com and sign in with their HWB details.
Forgotten your HWB details? No problem, notify your class teacher and they can help you out.
Seesaw
In order to capture our pupils' learning we often record activities through photos or videos. You can access these through an individual, unique code specifically for your child by downloading the app.
Ask your teacher for your child's code.
