PE Kit
Please ensure that your child brings in PE kit on the appropriate day. If your child fails to bring in PE kit on these days do not worry as we have spare PE kit in school. If your child does not bring in PE kit on a Tuesday we will ask your child to use the school's spare kit.
Mr Guinee's Class - Monday (PM)
Mr Horton's Class - Tuesday (PM)
Mr Matthews Class - Wednesday (PM)
Miss Hall's Class - Friday (PM)
If you do not want your child to wear this - please make sure they bring appropriate kit on a Tuesday.
Please support your child to read regularly. If you could make a comment in the reading record we will know that the book has been read and this will help us to select the next book. Comments could include letting us know if he/she enjoyed the book or perhaps they found it too easy or too hard. It is often beneficial to read a book more than once as, having familiarised themselves with the vocabulary, children can then begin to read more fluently, adding expression and developing a 'story teller's voice'.
It is important that your child returns their reading recording Twice weekly on a Tuesday and Friday. Please ensure that your child has their book bags and reading record on these days.
PPA Days
The Year 5/6 Teachers will have their PPA day every other Thursday.
The classes will be covered by Teachers and HLTA's on these days. Staff will be in school forst thing in the morning to deal with any queries you may have. Please see your child's class teacher on the playground in the mornings.
